Mobile impedance moisture meter for detecting leaks on large-area roofs without a CONTROFOIL detection layer. The DEC SCANNER moisture meter is used for non-destructive measurement of moisture in a flat roof structure with electrically non-conductive materials. With its mobile design, it can quickly detect moisture in the roof structure on large areas. It helps create a roof moisture map. It is an ideal complement to the CONTROFOIL DETECTOR spark device for spark tests on large-area roofs without a CONTROFOIL detection layer.
Technical specification:
Scanning area: W.609 mm x L.394 mm
Maximum penetration depth: 152 mm
Display: Analog
Device dimensions: W762 mm x D400 mm x H158 mm
Transport case dimensions: W940 mm x L508 mm x H305 mm
Weight: 9.95 kg
Total weight (including case): 21.1 kg
Power supply: 2×9 volt PP3 batteries (included)Measurement:
- instant detection of humidity values
- non-destructive measurement
- creating a humidity map
- tracking moisture to the cause of the leakIt cannot be used in structures with conductive layers, e.g. EPDM roofing, butyl rubber, asphalt strips with aluminum support insert.
Device operation:
Operating the device is simple and does not require special skills.
By gradually pushing the device over the surface of the roof covering, moisture values are identified, with increasing intensity leading to the source of the leak.
The tested surface must be dry.
