The old electrode with the butterfly screw kept coming loose
Even replacing the fixed screw with a wing screw did not provide a perfect solution. The screw kept loosening and did not maintain the required perpendicular direction. The new perpendicular connection is solid, maintains the perpendicular direction and fits perfectly into the transport package after disassembly.
Stuck threads or broken extension rods
The most common failure of the old 2019 model was stuck threads due to contamination. When trying to loosen them, they always broke off.
The original shape of the elctrode with the attachment is impractical
Perhaps the most impractical was the first electrode with an extension, which did not fit into any case. Therefore, it was partially replaced with a butterfly screw to be able to detach and insert into the case, but even this solution did not prove to be sufficient.
Cable protection at the handle entry
Cables are very susceptible to damage. Often the cables from the handle were damaged when closing the transport case.

The original 2019 handle was square and was tiring and painful to hold for hours.

What is High Voltage Electronic Leak Detection?
A method for detection the cause of a roof leak. It is a non-destructive inspection method that works by dragging a test electrode across the dry surface of the waterproofing. At the point of failure, sparks jump between the electrode and the special conductive substrate (CONTROFOIL), which are indicated by the device both acoustically and visually. The test is one of the "dry testing" metods. This means that the surface must be clean and especially dry during testing.
